Riley Strong

Riley Strong is an accomplished leader in engineering with extensive experience in payments and fraud management across multiple well-known companies. Currently a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI, Riley leads Payments Engineering initiatives. Previously, as Engineering Director at Lime, responsibilities included overseeing various teams focused on payments and machine learning. Additional roles include Engineering Manager at Stripe, where work involved cash reporting and money movement integrations, and Senior Engineering Manager at Deliveroo, handling marketplace payments and fraud. Earlier experience includes significant contributions at Square, spanning multiple engineering and managerial positions, and co-founding Enzyme Design, which modernized criminal records management for police departments. Riley holds dual BE degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and Mechanical & Aero Engineering from Queen Mary University of London.
