Robert Wu

Robert Wu is currently the Associate General Counsel, Corporate at OpenAI since June 2023. Prior to joining OpenAI, Robert worked at OpenSea as the Head of Corporate Legal from May 2022 to June 2023, and at Uber from September 2014 to May 2022 in various roles including Legal Director, Corporate & Assistant Corporate Secretary. Robert has a strong background in corporate law, advising on governance, securities, capital markets, SEC reporting, M&A, and other corporate matters. Robert also has experience working at law firms such as Covington & Burling and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati, representing emerging growth companies and venture capital firms. Robert holds a J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law and a B.S. in Business Administration from USC Marshall School of Business.
