Robert Yang

Robert Yang currently serves as the Technical Director at OpenAI, leading a team in AI research and development focused on innovative machine learning algorithms and deep learning applications in natural language processing and computer vision. Prior to OpenAI, Robert held positions including Senior Researcher and Data Scientist at major organizations such as Microsoft, where responsibilities included optimizing machine learning models and analyzing large data sets. Previous experience also includes developing image recognition algorithms as an Algorithm Engineer, contributing to deep learning research as a Research Assistant, and engaging in software development during an internship. Robert holds an undergraduate degree in Logistics Engineering and Management from Peking University and a Master's degree in Computer Science from USC Marshall School of Business.
