Rocky Smith is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI since November 2023, Rocky also holds the position of Founder & CEO at Inyo Labs since March 2016. Prior experience includes roles as Engineering Manager at both Facebook and Lyft, as well as Senior Software Engineer at Facebook. Earlier in the career, Rocky was a Software Development Engineer II at Microsoft, and gained initial experience as a Software Engineer Intern at both Iridium and IBM. Rocky holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University, obtained in 2006.
