Rod Solaimani

Rod Solaimani currently serves as the Middle East Policy & Partnerships Lead at OpenAI, a position held since October 2023. Prior experience includes roles at Warner Bros. Discovery as Senior Director of Global Streaming Strategy and Senior Director of Commercial Strategy EMEA, and as a Senior Associate at McKinsey & Company. Prior to these positions, Rod worked at VICE Media as a Strategy Consultant and at MOBY Group in multiple capacities, including Managing Director of Alef Technology. Rod co-founded Inspire Dreams, a non-profit organization focused on educational programs for Palestinian refugee youth, and has held various positions at UNESCO and The White House as an intern. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree from Georgetown University and ongoing studies at Bucerius Summer School on Global Governance since 2019.
