Sam Jau is a design professional currently serving as a Member of Design Staff at OpenAI since June 2024. Prior to this role, Sam was the Head of Design at Multi, a position held from March 2021 until the company's acquisition by OpenAI. Sam's earlier experience includes significant roles at Dropbox as a Product Design Manager and Product Designer from July 2014 to March 2021, as well as a Product Designer at Upserve from 2013 to May 2014. Sam also completed a Product Design Internship at Facebook in the summer of 2013. Sam holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design.
