Sam Toizer

Sam Toizer is a skilled product manager and software engineer with extensive experience in safety systems and user integrity. Currently serving as a Product Manager for Safety Systems at OpenAI since October 2023, Sam previously held roles at Integrity Institute as a Visiting Fellow, and at Nextdoor as a Product Manager for Trust & Safety. Notably, Sam spent several years at Twitter, progressing through multiple positions, including Group Product Manager for Information Integrity, where significant contributions were made to user safety features such as Mute Word. Sam co-founded Fog and the Machine, a venture connecting musicians to opportunities, and has a strong technical background with internships at notable companies, including Epic and Carmel Software Corporation. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Northwestern University.
