Scott Lessans currently serves as a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI, where the focus is on embodying general intelligence. Previously, Scott held the position of Principal Engineer at cr8dl.ai, and prior to that, contributed significantly to Covariant as well as co-founding Nourish Technology Inc. in the role of Co-Founder and CTO, where Scott designed and built robots capable of cooking. Scott's experience also includes being a Senior Software Engineer at BASELAYER, where the development of scalable big data systems was a key responsibility, and serving as a Software Developer at IO. As a Co-Founder of Marquee Mobile, Scott created a platform that incentivizes concert attendance through mobile technology. Scott's early experience includes software development internships at The SAVO Group and IO. Education was completed at the University of Michigan and Park School.
