Shauna O'Brien

Shauna O'Brien is an experienced professional with a strong background in trust and safety operations and policy. Currently serving as Senior Director of Trust and Safety Operations and Policy at OpenSea since May 2022, Shauna has previously held key positions at Facebook, including Director of Strategic Initiatives for Trust & Safety Legal, Head of Global Safety Investigations, and Head of Global Safety Operations from February 2016 to May 2022. Earlier roles include Director of Operations at Dialpad, various leadership positions at Google from October 2006 to June 2015, and Manager of Internal Operations at Plavan Companies. Shauna began a career in education as Program Director at SCORE! Educational Center prior to a transition into tech and operations. Shauna holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from UC San Diego, obtained in 2000.
