Stewart Hall

Stewart Hall is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the field of artificial intelligence and deep learning. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI since September 2023, Stewart previously held the titles of Distinguished Engineer and Member of Technical Staff at Cerebras Systems from June 2017 to August 2023, contributing to the development of advanced computer systems for AI acceleration. Prior roles include Software Engineer at Intel Corporation, Algorithms Engineer at Nervana (acquired by Intel), and Engineer at Qualcomm, focusing on GPU architecture and modeling. Stewart's early career featured positions at Advanced Micro Devices, Georgia Institute of Technology as an undergraduate teaching assistant, and AAI Corporation. Stewart holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
