Mark Brown

Founder, Owner, CEO at openAirWare

Mark Brown has a long and varied work experience beginning in 1994 with the founding of Reliance Microsystems Inc. (RelMicro), where they served as Founder, Owner, and CIO. At RelMicro, Mark achieved key successes such as the GM Truck Town/Supplier Depot and the Clinical WorkStation for Trinity Health System. In 1998, Mark founded RelWare, where they served as Founder, Owner, and CIO. At RelWare, Mark led and mentored multiple development teams in the creation of multiple Electronic Medical Records and a patent-pending development platform. In 2012, Mark founded OPENAIRWARE LLC, where they served as Founder, Owner, and CEO. At OPENAIRWARE, Mark focused on improving both the patient and clinical experience by improving the clinicians' tools and bringing the same level of tools to the patients. In 2019, Mark founded PonyBoy Pop Art, where they serve as Founder/Artist. At PonyBoy Pop Art, Mark creates 3d Printed Hand-painted pieces of pop art.

Mark Brown obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Central Michigan University between 1984 and 1987. Mark also obtained two certifications in 2011 from InfoGard Laboratories EHR Certification Body - one for Complete EHR, Inpatient under Meaningful Use, and one for Modular EHR, Ambulatory.
