Abbey Thomas is the SVP, Platform Sales at OpenAP. Abbey has over a decade of experience in the marketing industry. Abbey started their career at Tremor Video as the Chief Marketing Officer. At Tremor Video, Abbey was responsible for linking the company’s product innovations to its customer-focused operations in order to build the brand, increase awareness, enable sales and drive revenue for the organization. Abbey oversaw all marketing functions including product marketing, sales marketing, events, publicity, as well as the go to market sales strategy and sales training. In November 2018, Abbey joined IAB as Board of Directors where they oversaw all Entertainment category advertising revenue nationwide for the leading digital video company, Tremor Video. Abbey drove and executed on behalf of all Entertainment client partnerships by internally developing category specific strategies for inventory, pricing, ad formats, research, marketing and more. Abbey also managed highly strategic level national partnerships with film, home entertainment, broadcast TV, cable TV, PPV, VOD, video game marketers and their respective advertising agencies.

Thomas Abbey attended the University of Georgia for their undergraduate degree, majoring in advertising and minoring in sociology. Abbey then attended Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia for their ABJ. After working for a few years, they decided to go back to school and attended the University of California, Los Angeles for continuing education, where they studied TV sales and novel writing.

They work with Jim Keller - EVP, Digital Ad Sales & Advanced Advertising, Warner Bros. Discovery, Brittany Slattery - SVP & Head, Marketing & Communications, and Sean Breedlove - VP, Measurement & Analytics. Their manager is David Levy, CEO.
