We envision a future where autonomous mining thrives through healthy competition and interoperability, where mining companies can freely choose the best solutions for their needs across the entire autonomous technology stack. In this future, innovation flourishes as technology providers compete and collaborate, driving forward the capabilities of autonomous mining while making operations safer, more efficient, and more sustainable.

Our mission is to serve as the mining industry's premier educational resource and collaboration platform for open autonomy, advancing the adoption of interoperable autonomous solutions through:
- Sharing knowledge, progress, and news about open autonomy implementations worldwide
- Providing a vendor-neutral platform where OEMs and technology providers can share information and innovations
- Fostering understanding of open standards and interoperability in autonomous mining
- Facilitating dialogue between mining companies, technology providers, and industry stakeholders
- Documenting successful implementations and lessons learned from open autonomy projects
- Supporting the development and adoption of industry standards for autonomous system interoperability
