Andrew Chung is the co-founder of OpenAxis and a serial entrepreneur. Andrew has over fifteen years of experience in the technology industry, ranging from software engineering to sales and solutions architecture.
Andrew's first foray into entrepreneurship was with Antler, a company they founded in 2020. During their time at Antler, Andrew explored something new, though they do not elaborate on what that entailed.
Prior to founding Antler, Andrew worked as a consultant and sales engineer for Zammo.ai, a voice app deployment platform. At Zammo, Andrew was responsible for architecting and developing backend functionality in C#, as well as building services and APIs to handle long-running tasks, notifications, and user/data updates.
From 2016 to 2019, Andrew worked as a Technical Solutions Professional for Microsoft's Global Black Belt team. In this role, Andrew designed and architected enterprise solutions, taught and trained enterprise developers, and built POCs for large enterprise customers on topics ranging from Mobile (Xamarin), Serverless, Bots, AI and Cognitive Services, Cosmos DB (NoSQL), and architecting cloud native PaaS apps on Azure. Andrew was also responsible for leading Azure adoption in the field by running and designing hack-a-thons for customers, creating developer day events and open-source deep-dive training documents, and continuously learning the newest Microsoft technologies. Some of Andrew's notable projects include leading a hackathon for Bose, fixing critical Black Friday notifications + cloud issues for JOANN Fabric, and creating a cloud + mobile app for Burlington Coat Factory that led to the adoption of Azure.
In July 2020, Andrew left Microsoft to pursue their latest venture - OpenAxis - full time. OpenAxis is a data platform that helps companies make better decisions by unlocking the value in their data. The platform enables companies to connect disparate data sets, clean and prepare data for analysis, and run sophisticated analytics to identify trends and patterns.
