Ihsan Erman Saracgil

Ihsan Erman Saracgil serves as the Head of Quant Research at OpenBB since November 2024. Prior to this role, Ihsan held the position of Data Science Vice President at S&P Global from May 2024 to November 2024 and at Visible Alpha from April 2018 to May 2024, where responsibilities included building and leading the Data Science team and advising portfolio managers and analysts in investment research. Earlier experience includes roles as a Data Scientist and Associate at Cornerstone Research, focusing on quantitative models for financial analysis in litigation matters, and a Dissertation Intern at the Federal Reserve Board. Ihsan earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan, complemented by an M.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Business Administration from Bilkent University.
