John Shepherd

John Shepherd is currently the Lead Solutions Architect at Opencast. Prior to this role, John held the position of Head of Solutions at Gentoo Group, where John oversaw in-house Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, and Software Development capabilities. With previous experience at Capita, Orange Bus, and as a self-employed Freelance Content Creator, John has a strong background in digital solutions and architecture. John's career also includes roles at COA Solutions Ltd and QSP, showcasing their expertise in enterprise Java development and financial software. John began their journey in the tech industry as a Junior Programmer at BT during a university placement at Northumbria University, where John obtained their BSc (Hons) in Computing.
