Baptiste ABEL

Baptiste Abel has held various roles throughout their work experience. Baptiste started their career as a Stagiaire Ingénieur Développement at Opendatasoft from September 2017 to February 2018. Baptiste then worked as a Software Engineer at Opendatasoft from February 2018 to August 2019, and later as a Senior Software Engineer from August 2019 to January 2023. Currently, Baptiste is still employed at Opendatasoft as a Senior Software Engineer.

In addition to their work at Opendatasoft, Baptiste also gained experience as a Software Engineer at the Théâtre Impérial de Compiègne from September 2015 to April 2017. Baptiste was responsible for the artistic and technical direction of an interactive digital art project. Baptiste also showcased their work at various exhibitions and festivals.

Furthermore, Baptiste completed a short internship at the Centre Pompidou in January to February 2017, where they gained valuable experience. Baptiste also worked as a Student Developer at the Université de Technologie de Compiègne from February 2016 to June 2016.

Prior to their professional experiences, Baptiste completed an internship as an Assistant Engineer at Tisséo, where they contributed to the development of a transportation reservation module and worked with Python technology. Baptiste also contributed to the open-source software Navitia de CanalTP.

Lastly, in 2013, Baptiste completed an internship as an Ouvrier at Lafarge.

Baptiste Abel has a strong educational background in the field of computer science and technology. Baptiste obtained their Bachelor's degree in Humanities and Technology from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC) between 2012 and 2015, with a focus on computer sciences and philosophy of techniques. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Lycée Aux Lazaristes (Lyon) from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained their Baccalaureate degree in Science, specializing in Mathematics, with additional options in Music and Sports.

Baptiste further pursued their education at UTC and completed their Master's degree in Computer Engineering, with a specialization in Real-Time Systems and Embedded Computing, between 2015 and 2017. During this period, they also obtained the Theoretical Examination of the Glider Pilot License (Épreuve théorique du BPP) from DGAC in August 2016. Additionally, they hold a TOEIC certification (Scoring 895), acquired at an unspecified time.
