Camilo Moreno has a diverse work experience in various roles within the data and journalism fields. Camilo started their career as a journalist at RFI - Radio France Internationale in 2012. Camilo then worked as a Datajournalist Intern at Rue89 before joining Wedodata, AskMedia, and Ici Barbes as a Datajournalist, where they conducted research and analysis of statistics, as well as editorialized print and interactive infographics.
In 2014, Camilo joined CCM Benchmark as a Hi-tech news service reporter, and later in the same year, they started working at Google as a Trends data curator. In this role, they shared Google Trends data with media organizations to empower innovation in newsrooms and managed collaborative projects related to data journalism.
From 2015 to 2018, they worked as an Educator for multiple businesses, followed by a role at La Gazette des communes as a Data Journalist. Here, they conducted research, data analysis, and wrote technical briefs for over 200 open data indicators for the Open Data Gazette.
Camilo then joined Google again in 2019 as a Senior Consulting Associate in Data & Innovation, where they managed day-to-day operations for global Google funds related to journalism and built and maintained CRM systems and custom dashboards for data analysis and reporting.
In 2021, Camilo worked as a Senior Audience Manager at Groupe Les Echos-Le Parisien, and most recently, they joined Opendatasoft in 2023 as a Custom Success Manager for Collectivités Territoriales.
Throughout their career, Camilo Moreno has gained extensive experience in data analysis, data journalism, and project management, working with various organizations.
Camilo Moreno obtained a Master en Periodismo degree with a focus on Periodismo Web from Sciences Po, where they studied from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Universidad Nacional del Litoral, earning a Licenciatura en Letras degree, although the field of study for their undergraduate degree is not specified.
In terms of certifications, Camilo Moreno has obtained several additional qualifications. In April 2021, they obtained "The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing - Certification" from Google Digital Garage. In June 2021, they acquired three more certifications: "Advanced Google Analytics" from Google, "Construire une stratégie réseaux sociaux en 7 étapes" from LinkedIn, and "Google Analytics Individual Qualification" from Google.
