Jay Cherry is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in sales, operations, and strategic leadership. As Head of Sales and Sr. Director of Operations and Strategy at Opendoor since August 2018, Jay has held various leadership roles, including Division GM and Regional General Manager. Additionally, Jay serves as a Venture Partner at Wefunder and Managing Partner at Sunrise Fund. Previous experience includes advisory and executive roles at Nisolo and a five-year tenure at DaVita, where Jay was Division Vice President. Jay holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from the University of Florida. Notably, Jay directed the HaitiOne initiative for Mission of Hope Haiti, leading efforts to support 50,000 schoolchildren in the country.
