John Kimpel has extensive experience in the flooring and remodeling industry, spanning several decades and various roles. Most recently, Kimpel served as a Homes Project Manager at Opendoor since September 2018, focusing on estimating and managing remodel construction and property sales. Prior positions included Independent Flooring Inspector at John Kimpel Certified Inspections, Assistant Production Manager at Romanoff Renovations/Flooring, and Project Manager at Total Contracting Interiors, among others. Kimpel is also the former owner and president of Specialty Floors, Inc., where leadership encompassed all facets of business operations. Educational credentials include a Drafting Certificate in Architecture from Sierra College and multiple certifications related to flooring inspection and installation. Currently retired, Kimpel is enjoying travel, golfing, and personal projects.
