Eric Brochu

Eric Brochu has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Eric is currently working as a Scrum Master at OpenDrives since 2022. Prior to this, Eric held the position of Scrum Master and Team Lead at LexisNexis Risk Solutions from 2020 to 2021. During this time, they assumed Scrum Master responsibilities for Devops, infrastructure, and service desk teams while also serving as a technical consultant to key stakeholders. Eric actively promoted transparency and adaptation within the IT operations to transform it into a business partner for engineering decisions. Eric was responsible for infrastructure design decisions and managed the entire project lifecycle from budgeting to implementation.

Before their role at LexisNexis, Eric worked at ID Analytics, a Symantec company. From 2017 to 2020, they held the positions of Scrum Master and Principal Site Reliability Engineer, and from 2014 to 2017, they served as a Senior Systems Engineer. Eric'sresponsibilities included ensuring the smooth functioning of the systems and providing technical leadership.

Prior to ID Analytics, Eric worked at Encore Capital Group from 2006 to 2014. Eric held the roles of Senior Storage Engineer and Senior Systems Engineer during this time. Eric was responsible for strategic planning, architecting, and managing the core infrastructure. Eric also provided technical leadership and mentored colleagues.

Eric's career began at Exponent, Inc. in 2004, where they worked as a Systems Support Specialist until 2006. Eric started their professional journey at Astec in 2002 as a Systems Administrator.

Eric Brochu obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Natural Sciences from Worcester State University, graduating in 1998. In addition, they hold certifications as a Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) and a Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I), which were obtained from Scrum.org in January 2022.
