Aaron Mandeville

Aaron Mandeville has a diverse work experience in the aerospace engineering field. Aaron worked as a GNC Software Engineer at Opener since 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering at San Jose State University from 2020 to 2021. During this time, they developed software for an optimal LQR flight controller for a quadcopter and utilized sensor fusion techniques to improve sensor noise reduction. Before that, they worked as an Associate Thermal Engineer at Lockheed Martin from 2019 to 2020, performing thermal analysis on the Orion crew module for the Artemis missions. Aaron also gained experience during their time at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they worked on analyzing thermal considerations for an asteroid mining mission and developed thermal requirements for spacecraft projects.
