George Co

George Co has a strong background in electrical engineering with a focus on design, development, and integration of sensors, as well as vehicle electronics. George started their career with Pason Systems as an Electrical Engineer Intern, providing support to existing products in the field and assisting with upgrades. George then worked at Opener, initially as an Electrical Engineer, where they managed a small team and was involved in the design and development of key sensors and vehicle electronics. George later took on the role of Electrical Engineering Manager, and most recently, became the Director of Electrical Engineering. Prior to their professional career, George Co completed a 4th Year Design Capstone Project sponsored by Pason Systems during their time at the University of Calgary. In this role, they led a team in developing a wireless alternative to rig-side communications.

George Co completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Entrepreneurship and Enterprise from the University of Calgary. George attended the university from 2008 to 2014. In addition to their degree, they also obtained certifications in Petroleum Safety Training from Enform in March 2012, as well as H2S Alive from the same institution and month and year.
