Taylor Brown

Taylor Brown began their work experience in 2014 as a Software Developer at Agate Software, Inc. They worked on various projects utilizing VB.NET, jQuery, and SQL Server Management Studio. They improved cross-team communication and mentored employees during their time there.

In 2017, Taylor joined Infinity Software Solutions as a Software Developer. They resolved time-critical bugs, implemented processes to address issues quicker, and suggested enhancements to the SCRUM framework. They also mentored employees and improved cross-team communication.

Later in 2017, Taylor worked as a Consultant at Sogeti, where they contributed their expertise and knowledge to the company.

In 2018, Taylor joined Amware Fulfillment as an Application Developer. Their responsibilities included developing applications and supporting the company's fulfillment processes.

In 2020, Taylor joined IBI Group as a Software Developer. They built and tested a GIS Web Application using C#.NET and AWS services. They also mentored junior developers and assisted with prototyping client requests.

In 2021, Taylor moved to Universal Background Screening as a Software Developer. They took ownership of multiple systems, increased productivity through new processes and functionality, and converted older applications to modern technologies. They also coordinated deployments and trained QA teams on testing frameworks.

Currently, Taylor works at Openforce as an Engineering Team Lead, starting in 2023.

Taylor Brown earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University, where they studied from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2014, Taylor attended Glendale Community College and obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Computer Information Systems. In addition to their degrees, Taylor also obtained a certification as an IBM Blockchain Foundation Developer in March 2018 from IBM.
