Billy Holloran has a diverse work experience in the technology sector. Billy started their career as a Digital Service Fellow at Urban Technology Project, providing IT support to the northeast Philadelphia region. Billy then moved on to become a Computer Support Specialist at the same company, where they assisted Frankford High School staff and students with end-user support on various technologies.
In 2017, Billy joined Webjunto as an intern doing QA and later became a full-time QA Engineer. Billy was responsible for running the QA process throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ensuring that the final product met clients' expectations.
Currently, Billy is working as a Quality Assurance Manager at OpenForge, where they oversee the quality assurance process.
Billy Holloran began their education at Franklin Learning Center (High School) in 2011 and completed in 2015. During this time, they studied Computer Science. After high school, from 2017 to 2020, Billy attended the Community College of Philadelphia. Billy pursued studies in Computer and Information Systems but did not obtain a degree. In addition to their formal education, Billy also obtained several certifications. In 2016, they received the Apple iOS Service Certification (iOS-16A) and the Apple Service Fundamentals Certification (SVC-16A) from Apple. Billy also obtained the Dell Tech Direct certification from Dell in June 2016.
