Daniel Cecalacean is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and strategy within the technology sector. As the Sr. Manager of Product and Strategy at Opengear since August 2021, Daniel oversees the software product roadmap and enhances product adoption and market penetration. Previously, Daniel served as the Director of Product Management and Engineering at Senneca Holdings, leading efforts that significantly improved gross margins and generated new revenue. During a notable tenure at Vertiv, Daniel progressed to offering management, driving financial performance and strategic portfolio optimization across various IT systems. Early career experiences at Emerson and Orange Romania provided a strong foundation in IT operations and customer support. Daniel holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University and advanced degrees in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications, as well as Computer Science from Technical University of Cluj Napoca.
