Richard Plessner

Richard Plessner is a seasoned Senior Sales Engineer at Opengear since January 2016, specializing in out-of-band solutions that include secure console management and cellular remote access. With a robust background at MRV Communications from 1998 to 2016, Richard provided technical sales support for Optical Transport and Out of Band products, while also conducting field installations. Previous roles include Product Specialist for Out of Band Networking, Senior Test Engineer focused on quality assurance, and Tier 2 support as a Product Support Engineer. Earlier experience includes technical support roles at Xyplex and Cabletron Systems, addressing various WAN technologies and network systems.
