Danny Hua

Danny Hua has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Danny currently holds the position of Sr. Director, Ecosystem Development at Futurewei Technologies, Inc. since April 2021. Danny is also actively involved in OpenHW Group as the Co-Chair of the Marketing Group. In addition, Danny serves on the Board of Advisors for CASPA - Chinese American Semiconductor Professional Assoc. since October 2012.

Prior to their current roles, Danny held the position of Vice President Of Business Development at Midas Touch, Inc. from September 2019 to April 2021. Danny also worked at Futurewei Technologies, Inc. as Director of Technology Strategy and Planning, IC Lab from July 2017 to September 2019. Before that, they were a Senior Manager in Technology Strategy and Planning at Huawei Technologies from August 2015 to July 2017.

Earlier in their career, Danny worked at Broadcom as an Engineer, Principal in Product Engineering from February 2014 to August 2015, and as a Sr. Staff Test Engineer from February 2012 to February 2014. Danny also gained valuable experience at NetLogic Microsystems as a Sr. Product Engineer from October 2001 to February 2012, and at Altera Corp as an Advanced Product Engineer from February 1999 to October 2001.

From 1994 to 1997, Danny Hua attended the University of Utah, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering. During the same period, they also pursued another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Utah.

Later, from 1997 to 1999, Danny Hua pursued further education at the University of Southern California, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering.
