Behnam Bastani

Behnam Bastani is the CEO and co-founder of OpenInfer (2024–Present), building large model inference systems enabling complex reasoning at lower cost and always on. Behnam Bastani previously served as Sr. Director of Engineering, Engine AI at Roblox (2022–2024) and as Director of Architecture, Reality Labs at Meta (2017–2022), with earlier roles at Google as Manager, Advanced Display Systems, Google [x], and Sr Manager of Mobile Rendering, Virtual Reality, Daydream (2013–2015). Behnam Bastani has held research and engineering roles across Qualcomm MEMS Technology (Staff Scientist, Image Scientist, 2011–2012), Memjet Technology (Senior Imaging Technologist, 2008–2011), Samsung Electronics (Lead Imaging & Display System Architect, 2012–2013), HP (Color Science / System Engineer, 2004–2008), Actenum Corporation (Algorithm Developer, 2001–2003), and Harvard Medical School (Visiting Scientist, 2015–2021), and serves on the Advisory Board of Kibeam Learning (2023–Present).
