Halima Henderson

Halima Henderson has a diverse background encompassing both the arts and community involvement. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at Nagle Apartments Corporation since June 2016, Halima is responsible for resident conflict resolution, maintaining shareholder investment protection, and fostering a community atmosphere in the Co-Op. As an On Call Yoga Instructor at The Greenwich Hotel and a self-employed actor, Halima showcases versatility in performance and wellness. Additionally, Halima has been a Lead and Teaching Artist with Opening Act since September 2014, where skills in theater and improvisation are imparted to high school students. Previously, Halima worked as a Special Events Production Manager at Yogamaya New York and held several roles as a Yoga Instructor across various studios. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature and Communication Studies from the University of Michigan, as well as a 200-hour teacher certification from Yogamaya Yoga School.
