Matt Ruhter is the Senior Counsel and Director of Land Preservation at Openlands, a position they have held since 2025. They previously served as a Staff Attorney at Openlands and gained extensive legal experience as a Contract Attorney specializing in general litigation, environmental, and natural resource law from 2017 to 2022.
