Roy Wu has a diverse and extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Roy started their career at CDS Inc as a Software Engineer in 2000. Roy then joined a startup company as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Architect in 2001, where they were responsible for the software development lifecycle and had expertise in server-side web presentation technologies. After that, they joined OPENLANE in 2006 and advanced to increasingly responsible positions, including Principal Software Engineer/Team Lead and Senior Software Engineering Manager. Roy went through a company merge and was promoted to a manager position, where they recruited, trained, and supervised a team of developers. In 2014, they joined ADESA as the Director of Software Engineering, leading multiple North American and Indian Scrum teams and providing technical guidance for over 60+ Automobile OEM eCommerce Private Label sites. Roy also played a crucial role in the technical development, delivery, and support of one of the largest vehicle re-marketing eCommerce platforms in the world.
