Aaron Wright

Chief Executive Officer; Co-Founder at OpenLaw

Aaron Wright has been working in the professional world since 2005. Aaron began their career as the Co-Founder of ArmchairGM, LLC, which was sold to Wikia in 2007. After that, they served as the Vice President Product / Business Development; General Counsel at Wikia until 2009. That same year, they became an Associate at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP. In 2008, they were a Clerk for the Honorable William Martini, United States District Court, District of New Jersey. From 2013 to 2014, they were part of the Content, Media & Entertainment Practice at Jenner & Block. Since 2014, they have been a Professor of Law (on leave) at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Most recently, in 2017, they became the Chief Executive Officer; Co-Founder of Tribute Labs.

Aaron Wright completed a BA in History and Economics from Tufts University and a J.D. from Cardozo School of Law.
