Paul Chaplin

Paul Chaplin has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Paul started their career as a freelancer in 2007, working on various tasks such as requirements gathering, setting up content management websites, and enhancing single-page applications. During this time, they gained expertise in handling in-browser richtext editing and addressing browser implementation issues. In 2013, Paul worked as a contractor for Fluxility, collaborating with a multinational team on the development of the AIMMS WebUI single-page application. Paul was responsible for building modular UI widgets using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, and working closely with the backend team. Since 2019, Paul has been employed at Openli, where they initially served as a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend Lead) before being promoted to the position of Tech Lead in April 2021.

From 2009 to 2013, Paul Chaplin attended The Open University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science BSc (Honours) degree in Computing.
