Beichen Wang

Beichen Wang is a Senior Photonics Design Engineer at OpenLight Photonics, where they focus on advancing photonic integrated circuit design. They are currently a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering, researching the characterization of photonic integrated circuits and their applications in high-speed mmWave technology. With five years of experience in design, testing, and performance analysis of photonic devices, Beichen has contributed to various roles, including as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Virginia, where they demonstrated significant advancements in microwave applications on silicon nitride photonic integrated circuits. Beichen previously held research positions at several prestigious institutions, including Nankai University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
