Ruma Haque has over 25 years of work experience in the semiconductor industry. Ruma began their career in 1995 as a Product & Test Engineer at Philips Semiconductors. In 2007, they moved to NXP Semiconductors as a Sr. Test Engineer, where they developed test solutions for microcontroller integrated circuit devices using Agilent/Verigy 93K test system. In 2013, they joined Amazon Lab126 as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer and KaChing as a Lead Software Quality Assurance Engineer. At KaChing, they were responsible for generating test cases for web & mobile applications, creating test plans, and executing phases of sprints. In 2014, they returned to NXP Semiconductors as a Sr. Test Development Engineer, Lead and worked extensively developing wafer level, final test for wireless charging devices, A4WP, Qi standards. In 2017, they moved to Juniper Networks as a Staff Senior Hardware Engineer, and in 2022, they joined OpenLight as a Sr. Hardware Engineer Staff.
Ruma Haque obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Wichita State University between 1988 and 1992. In 2013, they obtained a Testing Mobile Applications certification from Portnov Computer School, as well as a Testing Web Application certification from the same institution. Ruma also obtained a Scrum Master Accredited Certification from the International SCRUM Institute in February of 2013. In November of 2020, they obtained a Communicating with Confidence and Unconscious Bias certification from LinkedIn, and in January of 2021, they obtained an Aligning Customer Experience with Company Culture certification from LinkedIn.
