Vu Nguyen

Vu Nguyen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years in various engineering roles. Vu is currently a Sr SW Engineer at OpenLight, starting in April 2022. Prior to this, Vu worked at Juniper Networks from May 2018 to April 2022, where they held the role of HW Engineer Staff/Senior Product Test Engineer. Before Juniper Networks, they worked at Infinera as a Staff SW Dev Engineer from January 2016 to May 2018, where they developed automated tools and test sequences for Systems Engineering in MFG. From March 2010 to December 2015, Vu was a Senior Engineer, MFG at Pacific Biosciences, responsible for developing fully automated tests for PacBio hardware. Prior to that, they worked at Vello Systems, Inc. as a MTS, SW and Test Engineer from June 2009 to March 2010. Vu also gained experience at Opvista, where they held the roles of MTS, MFG Test Engineer from July 2007 to April 2009, and Senior Test Technician (Lead) from October 2005 to July 2007. Additionally, they worked at Finisar as an SQA - Build Engineer from April 1996 to October 2001, and at Shomiti as a QA Engineer from 1999 to 2001.

From 1990 to 1993, Vu Nguyen attended UC Irvine, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences.
