Founder at Openlytics

Pedro Pinto has a long and varied work experience. Pedro started their career in 2004 as a Ph.D. Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they worked in the areas of Wireless Communication, Signal Processing, and Information Theory. In 2010, they moved to the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology as a Postdoctoral Researcher, funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. In 2013, they co-founded and became CTO of Lytmus Inc., which raised $10M from Accel and NEA and sold to Checkr in 2018. At Checkr, they worked as an Engineering from 2018 to 2021. Most recently, in 2021, they founded Openlytics, which empowers everyone in the organization to solve data problems.

Pedro Pinto obtained their Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Porto, Portugal in 2003. Pedro then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2006. Finally, they obtained their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2010.
