Peter Marton

Peter Marton is the CEO and Founder of OpenMeter, a usage-based billing platform tailored for AI and DevTool companies, since January 2023. Prior to this role, Peter served as a Staff Software Engineer at Stripe, where responsibilities included leading database efficiency and cost initiatives. Previous experience includes a Senior Software Engineer position at Netflix, contributing to the API platform for 200 million members, and serving as Chairman of the Diagnostics Working Group for Node.js. Co-founder and CTO of RisingStack, Peter has also held roles at Secret Sauce Partners, Sanoma, LogMeIn, Wanari, and WebWalk Solutions. Peter holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics and is currently engaged in further education at Y Combinator.
