Cale M. has been working in the software and archival fields since 2013. Cale began their career as a Graduate Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2013. Cale then held the role of Archival Fellow at Delaware State University in 2014, and simultaneously held the role of Assistant Archivist at the Glenstone Museum. In 2017, Cale M. joined OpenPath Products, where they worked as a Software Developer and Software Tester.

Cale M. earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature, General from the University of Virginia between 2008 and 2011. Cale then obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012 and 2013. Most recently, Cale M. completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus between 2017 and 2019.
