Rich Smith

Rich Smith has over 30 years of experience in the software development industry. Rich began their career in 1986 as the QA and Customer Service Manager and general lackey at Discovery Software. Rich then moved on to TeleCommunication Systems in 1990 as a Systems Analyst and Senior Developer. In 1997, they became the Director of Research and Development at Meetinghouse Technologies (later Liveprint.com, kinkos.com), where they wrote award-winning multi-media CD-Rom titles. Rich then left for two years to serve as Director of R&D at a commercial software shop before returning to TeleCommunication Systems in 1998 as the Director of Developmental Software. In 2001, Rich became the Co-founder and CTO of OpenPath Products.

Rich Smith attended St. John's College from 1986 to 1990, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and History of Mathematics.
