Josh Channon

Josh Channon is currently the Legal Counsel at OpenPayd, a position they have held since 2025. They previously worked as a Trainee Solicitor at Travers Smith from 2022 to 2025, gaining experience in corporate M&A, tax, dispute resolution, and competition law. Prior to that, Josh was an Account Executive at Don't Panic Partners from 2016 to 2017 and an Analyst on the Emerging Markets Team at Mintel from 2015 to 2016. Josh also completed a Trade Services internship at the China-Britain Business Council in 2015. They hold a Distinction in both the Legal Practice Course and the Graduate Diploma in Law from The University of Law, and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chinese from the University of Leeds.
