Ray Von

Ray Von is the CEO and Founder of OpenPie, established in July 2021 with support from Tencent Investment. Under Ray's leadership, OpenPie developed "πDataCS," a leading cloud-native data computing system designed for Enterprise vertical LLMs and compatible with traditional Enterprise BI/Analytics. Previously, as Managing Director of Pivotal Software, Inc. from April 2013 to April 2020, Ray contributed to the digital transformation of major corporations including GE and Ford. Ray also served as Engineering Director at EMC Greenplum, where pivotal work on flagship products was accomplished, and as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Oracle USA, where significant developments in distributed job systems were made. Ray holds a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Carnegie Mellon University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Physics and Economics from Peking University.
