Michael is a policy researcher who is passionate about fighting for a more livable, equitable, and compassionate city. Michael got his start in politics working on a local State Senate campaign focused on making the streets safer. He went on to coordinate the digital communications strategy for a number of nonprofits and local, state, and Congressional level campaigns. After graduating from the Macaulay Honors College at Lehman College, Michael worked as a Research & Policy Associate at Housing Rights Initiative. There, he coordinated research on housing and homelessness policy, investigated sources of income discrimination, and combatted real estate fraud.
Currently, Michael is an MPA student at Baruch College with a focus on Urban Development and Sustainability. As part of his studies, he is drafting a research paper alongside faculty investigating Black homeownership in mid-century Brooklyn.
