Sam Parton

Co-Founder & CEO at OpenPlay

Sam Parton has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Sam co-founded OpenPlay in 2012 and served as the CEO, leading the company in providing bookings and management software to the sports and leisure industry. Sam was also a Contributing Writer for Londonist Ltd from November 2012 to December 2016. Prior to that, they were a Marketing Manager for WHIPCAR LTD, where they played a role in the launch of the WhipCar, which aimed to be the "Airbnb for cars". Sam Parton also participated in the Graduate Leadership Program at RENAULT UK LTD from September 2008 to April 2010. Additionally, they worked as an International Development Assistant for BUSINESS AT WORK SARL from July 2007 to July 2008.

Sam Parton received their A levels from CHARTERHOUSE SCHOOL, Godalming between 1998 and 2003. Later, they attended the University of Nottingham from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a Ba Hons 2:1 in Geography. Finally, from 2006 to 2008, Sam pursued a Masters degree in European Business Management at emlyon business school.
