Andy Schmidt

Andy Schmidt is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at OpenPlay since November 2016, Schmidt focuses on music rights management and digital distribution. Prior to this role, Schmidt co-founded Three Day Rule and held the position of Chief Technology Officer, while also founding Labcoat LLC, a company dedicated to custom web development for startups and media firms. Earlier career experiences include a developer role at Citrusbyte LLC, where Schmidt contributed to startup and product strategy as well as development across multiple platforms. Andy Schmidt holds an MA in Screenwriting from California State University, Northridge, and a BA in Creative Writing with a Minor in Computer Science from the University of Arizona.
