Steve Holmes

Steve Holmes is a seasoned hospitality professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as a Board Member at UKHospitality since June 2023 and as Chair at Openr since July 2024, Steve is focused on data and AI-driven innovation within the hospitality sector. Previously, Steve held significant positions at PizzaExpress, starting as Operations Manager in 2001 and ultimately becoming London Regional Director before leaving in 2009. As Managing Director at ASK Italian from September 2012 to September 2014, Steve oversaw significant transformations in the brand, enhancing its market presence. Steve has also worked as Operations Director at Orange Balloon and Operations Manager at Cafe Flo before joining Azzurri Group, where Steve has served as CEO since 2014, managing multiple restaurant brands including Zizzi. Educationally, Steve holds a degree in Hotel and Catering Management from the University of East Anglia and completed the High Potentials Leadership Programme at Harvard Business School.
