Simon Lowth

BT Group Nominee at Openreach

Simon is group chief finance officer at BT. He’s a member of the BT Group plc board, as well as the BT pensions, integration and operating committees.

Simon has experience in finance, accounting, risk, corporate strategy, and mergers and acquisitions. He was chief financial officer and executive director of BG Group before the takeover by Royal Dutch Shell in February 2016. From 2007 to 2013 he was chief financial officer and executive director of AstraZeneca. He was also an executive director of ScottishPower from 2003 to 2007 where he was appointed finance director in 2005. Before that Simon was director of McKinsey & Company.
