Before that, they were the CFO at Lyft from October 2014 to December 2021. Before that, they served as SVP, Business Development & Strategy at Walmart eCommerce from May 2011 to October 2014. Prior to that, they launched Evercore's West Coast advisory practice as a Senior Managing Director from January 2006 to May 2011. Before that, they were the Corporate Vice President, Corporate Development at Microsoft from January 2001 to November 2005. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Business Development at Inktomi Corporation from April 1999 to December 2000. Before that, they were a Vice President at Lazard Freres from July 1996 to April 1999.

Brian Roberts has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from University of California, Berkeley.
