Ivan Shmakov

Ivan Shmakov has a wealth of experience in software development, particularly in the field of VoIP and video conferencing. Ivan started their career at Ichi-Ban Telecom in 2007 as a business owner, where they focused on voice and video integration to Adobe Flash. Ivan then moved on to Spirit in 2001, where they worked as a software developer and deployment engineer, specializing in 3D talking characters and voice and video conferencing over IP. In 2009, they joined VideoMost as a software developer for their video conferencing platform, and later joined SPIRIT Navigation in 2013 as a software developer for satellite navigation and communications products. In 2014, they worked as an open-source developer at OpenSource and a senior VoIP software developer at VoxImplant, focusing on various aspects of VoIP technology.

Ivan Shmakov has a strong background in mathematics. Ivan pursued their undergraduate studies at the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute) from 1996 to 2002, where they obtained a degree in Applied Mathematics. Following this, they continued their education at the same institution and completed their Ph.D. in Mathematics from 2002 to 2005.
